Profile:
I obtained a Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2006. Prior to this,I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from York University in 2004. I am a Certified PGAP (Progressive Goal Attainment Program) clinician,Certified in Impairment and Disability Rater (4th Edition), and Certified Life Care Planner (Board Eligible). I have successfully completed several courses through the Ontario Brain Injury Association / Brock University and all of the Life Care Planning courses through the University of Florida. I am a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. I have experience providing assessments and treatment services for individuals who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents, work related injuries, and individuals who have developed impairments resulting from other forms of disability. My assessment experience includes the provision of In Home Assessments, Job Site Assessments, Physical Demands Analyses, Functional Abilities Evaluations, Situational and Catastrophic Assessments, and Ergonomic Assessments. I have experience in providing Occupational Therapy related rehabilitative solutions to address physical, functional and psychosocial impairments.
